American Platinum Eagle Coins
American Platinum Eagles are the official platinum bullion coin of the United States. They have been minted since 1997 and they contain 99.95% pure platinum. This coin comes in 1/10 oz., 1/4 oz., 1/2 oz., and 1 oz. denominations with face values of $10, $25, $50, and $100. The unique thing about the American Platinum Eagle proofs is that there is an alternating reverse design each year and it is the only United States bullion coin that does that. The prices for these coins are around $194, $481, $936, and $1837.
